DreamBuilders Desk Manufacture Event Registration Form for September 26, 2020
To promote safety and social distancing, our work site is separated into multiple stations consisting of single workers or small teams. Teams at a station must be family or close friends that have established close contact prior to the work day. Instructions for both single member and team sign up are included in the registration form. Every volunteer must register, whether or not on a team.

If you answer "YES" to this question, a box will appear below. Please list first and last name of each team member and team leader. Each member should register and select the same volunteer stations as other team members.
DAY 1 - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2020 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Build day 1 requires 5 different types of stations. Most types have several concurrently-operating sub-stations to meet the stated throughput goal of 80 desks by the end of work day 2. In addition to defined stations, build day 1 requires several runners/materials handlers as well as
quality-control personal to maintain oversight.
What experience/familiarity do you have with the following construction skills?

Familiarity with tape measure, Miter saw to cut desk materials. Tools: Saw
Using pre-built jigs, assemble the side and back support legs of the desk. Requires gluing and nailing components. Tools: Air Nailer/Compressor, Glue gun, Pneumatic nail gun
Cutting Handle Strap, drilling holes in desk top for handle and burning the DreamBuilders logo on the desktop. Tools: Cordless Drill, Branding Iron, scissors.
Fill nail holes on desk frames assembled above with wood filler. Tools: Putty knife
